I forgot the hide app gesture pattern on my Tecno pouvoir 3 air

Is this 3rd party app to hide apps?

Welcome to Android Central! If this is a system feature, then you typically have to do a factory reset to create a new gesture (which, of course, means you'll lose any data saved on the phone). When you create these kinds of security methods, you have to remember them or write them down somewhere, because devices typically don't give you a way to recover them -- otherwise, what good are they as security measures?

So the other thing you can actually do aside from erasing all your data... You can just go to settings>apps n you will find the apps you hid in the list n then tap on it "the app you want to run" and the again tap on the icon written "open" with an arrow on it... There you go!

Welcome to Android Central! Really, that'll work? That's not a particularly helpful Hide App feature, then, if anyone could just look in the Settings>Apps list ... :-\
