[Android Central Question]

I will get a notification for a news story, I click it but another screen pops up first with just my GMAIL address on the top, If I click the arrow to the left of the GMAIL address it will go to the news story. If I click my GMAIL address itself it goes to a page with a list of 7 or 8 apps that are installed on my phone. Why is this happening? Anyone heard or\f this and have a fix?

Welcome to Android Central! Which app is giving you the notification? When you get the notification, swipe down the notification panel and see which app is associated with the notification. Is it the Google News app, the main Google app, or something else?
