Android 11 Upgrade on Pixel 3 issue

[Android Central Question]

My Pixel 3 updated the other night and since then I can't access my apps. Swiping up twice doesn't work. I get a brief view of the app tray with a blue circle but I can't choose any of the apps it offers me nor can I open my complete app list. Can someone help me? On another note, aside from the aforementioned, I haven't noticed anything different, sorta bums me out. Many thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! You're using the stock Pixel launcher, and not some 3rd party launcher, correct?
