Android Central Question

These annoying system notifications say things like "contact saved" or "Group conversations will be sent as multimedia messages." They have a grey background and are not transparent enough to see thru. They often block the keyboard making it hard to type anything until they disappear after a minute or so. There has to be a way to turn these off.

Hope you don't mind, I edited your screenshots and reattached them, to hide certain identifying information like phone numbers.

It seems most likely that the messaging app itself is giving those toasts. Which messaging app is this? It might be worth trying a different SMS app.

I recall a previous thread about annoyingly persistent toast notifications -- if necessary, I can look for it.

Yes, that Accessibility setting (Time to take action) sets the time that those toasts stay on the screen.

Group conversations will be sent as multimedia messages pops up in group text within Samsung Messages app. Have not found a way to get rid of it. It's all over if you do a Google search.
