Some streaming apps not going full screen on motorola edge +

[Android Central Question]

I just got a motorola edge plus after years of having an iphone. I noticed on streaming apps except netflix there are black bars and I can't go into full screen. I went into settings and clicked full screen option and still no fix. Is this an app issue or am edge plus issue?

Welcome to Android Central! Which apps are you talking about? Did you try a pinch-to-zoom gesture?

Remember that with the typical tall screen of today's phones, making a conventional 16:9 widescreen fill he Edge+'s 19.5:9 screen will end up cutting off the top and bottom of the actual image.
