Android Central Question
A Nokia 5 started going into a reboot loop, sometimes right after entering PIN, sometimes after a few seconds it would reboot. I was able to reboot in safe mode and same happened. In both safe mode or regular reboot it would loop so much that it would eventually enter the Android recovery mode with the two options of trying again or doing a factory reset. The first few times I tried the option without reset, didn't help so finally I did a factory rest and seems the phone is ok.
So am I safe to assume that it is not a hardware issue and if so what are the possible problems that safe mode can't 'solve' that reset can?
(No malware that I am aware of cause malwarebytes was running on it, I also never loaded side apps or downloaded questionable apps that sometimes show up in articles about malicious apps. No recent updates or even app updates as I had auto updates turned off.)
