Notifications don't show up until I open the app

Notifications don't show until I open the app. After I open the app, I will receive notifications until about 10 minutes or so I until it just stops. Messenger as well as Spotify notifications will vanish without me checking it.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Any power-saving modes turned on, or 3rd party batter-saver/"RAM booster" apps installed?

Which phone ? Do you use a 3rd party launcher?
