Every-time I go to connect to the wifi, I get an error message stating “bad password”. I have reset the router and reset the chrome book and still the same issue.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried forgetting the wi-fi network from your Chromebook and then reconnecting? Are you certain you're using the correct wi-fi password? On your phone, forget your wi-fi network and then reconnect using that same password -- does it still say that it's a bad password?

Is this your own wi-fi network, or is it a public, school, or work wi-fi network?
