Can't figure out where all the memory is being used.

In Device Care/Storage, It says Apps are 4.5GB, Images are 436MB, and Documents, Video, and Audio are 0. But total in use is 14.8GB. So, it seems like nearly 10GB is unaccounted for. Is that all "Android Operating System"? Seems like alot. If i then go to "Storage Analysis" It says images 436MB, and "Other" 14.39GB. Not too useful! I've already cleaned up and deleted unused apps and images. Anywhere else i can recover some of my devices 16GB?

Cached Data can be deleted, though it will gradually rebuild.

Have you accounted your downloaded apps and system takes up 7 to 8 gb alone on lower storage devices.

Welcome to Android Central! It would not be unusual for 10 GB to be taken up by the OS and preinstalled apps/bloatware. Show us a screenshot of your Settings>Storage menu.

Yes I agree with B.Diddy. The operating system will take up 10GB of your storage. In fact the higher the storage the larger that data seems to be.

On my 512GB s10+ system takes up 47.37GB!!
