why does my phone have random beeps after visiting a website

[Android Central Question]

I visited a website and it had pop-ups that made this beep sound every time it appeared. I left the website immediately. Now I get the same beep sound at random times throughout the day. It is not from any app and I disabled notifications from chrome. How do I solve this?

You long press chrome then tap info>scroll to notification and it's off? Which device?

Welcome to Android Central! When you hear the beep, go to the App Overview/Recent Apps and see if the browser shows up there with an ad.
