Android Central Question

My phone is having spazz attacks. My stream, Bixby, volume buttons, and back buttons all press / activate at the same time over and over again. I have a galaxy s8 edge. I have tried safe mode, restarts, diagnostic tests, took off my screen protector and case, etc. Can't figure out how to make it stop.

Welcome to Android Central! Galaxy S7 edge? There was no S8 edge.

If it happens in Safe Mode without a screen protector, then chances are the touchscreen is faulty. Does this only happen when plugged in and charging, or does it also happen when you're not plugged in?

Is your screen cracked or damaged? It sounds like you have hardware damage, especially if it happens in Safe Mode. I've seen many times where the touch screen isn't even considered by users with issues. This is mostly because its been cracked or damaged for so long and continued to work despite the damage. They are rugged pieces of tech, considering how absolutely damaged or destroyed they can be but continue to function. On the flip side I've seen phones with relatively no damage start to act up or stop working. If the glass is damaged that would be where I would start as it sounds like you've taken all of the appropriate troubleshooting measures. Not sure if we can add any more to that but maybe B. Diddy is on to it if it is only happening when plugged in.
Micro USB plugs are so sensitive and can cause issues.
