Galaxy S5 won't recieve messages for a while or text back

I got the Samsung galaxy s5 last month and just recently I've been having this problem. Whenever I'm recieving a text from someone, most of the time I have to wait a long time for it or I text them back saying I didn't get the message. When I do this, instantly I get all the messages from multiple people who texted be in that time period and recieve them all at the same time. Any help?

I'd check with your carrier. This sounds like something is going on with the towers in your area.
