group messaging

Hey, so I have a constant group message going on with 6 or 7 of my friends and when receiving messages all of the iPhone users messages come into the group thread while the other galaxy note 3 users messages come in their own thread but still say that they are an mms. Both of them get all of their messages on one thread so I am wondering if there is a setting I need to change or what do I do to get all messages on one thread?

Hello. Are you using the stock messaging app or Hangouts?
