I see the following message on photos app from Google+ :

Backing up photos ... 537 left.

The message is not changing for the past couple of days.

How I can fix this?

You may be syncing only over wifi, or have a slow connection. Also Sync has to on, which you probably know. Have you unticked it in Accounts - Google.
I agree Dropbox is the only selective cloud back up I like.

I think there is a problem after recent update. The Auto Backup is no longer working if the settings indicates that only Backup can be done over WiFi.

When I select auto backup can be done over mobile or WiFi Network, it will work over WiFi and also of course over Mobile Network.

How I can report this problem to Google Support?

I reported this here also:

Confirming that this is a bug in 4.4.2.

Just to note my access point was *not* marked as a mobile hotspot in Data Manager (and toggling that setting had no effect.)

As soon as I switched over to "Wifi or mobile" backup started working, with only a Wifi connection present.
