Hi All, I rooted my phone after the KitKat update to get around the write to SD card restrictions. So now, the OTA updates don't work. I have searched all over the forums but I couldn't make head or tail of the conflicting information. So my questions are:
1) Is there a way that I can get the software update without losing root? some people say to get rooted version of software update? from where?
2) When we say unroot and root again, this means losing all data? as unroot means flashing with stock rom?
3) What is the quickest and least painful way to get the updates and keep root?
