Galaxy note 3

I just lost my galaxy note 3. What can i do to locate it? My gps is not on!

You can use Google's Device Manager (go to the Play Store, it should be there), or use Samsung's website to locate/wipe/ring/lock, etc. Unfortunately, you needed these services active on your phone before using them, so I truly hope you did enable either one.

If GPS is not ON or not available, an approximate location would be reported, using cell signal information and, if available, WiFi networks around your phone at the time. And I do believe that initiating a tracking from either services will turn the GPS on to locate, but I might be wrong.

If your phone is OFF, then the last known location will be reported.

Or you could try the old fashioned way: Try to call your cellphone and see if anyone picks up and returns your device.
