Nexus 5 Network Connectivity

[AC Question]

I frequently have network connectivity issues with my Nexus 5. The phone just randomly drops to zero bars signal. The signal drops in place where it shouldn't when I'm above ground in an area where should absolutely be no reason for the signal to drop. The only way to fix it is to reboot the phone. Is there an alternate fix to this issue?

I don't know whether it would help but you might try a cache partition wipe. Also perhaps a different SIM.
