AC Question

Hi, I just upgraded my phone from HTC Droid Incredible to HTC One (M8) from Verizon. I love the new phone in all ways except for one: I can't seem to figure out how to connect it to my MacBook Pro. On the old phone, all I had to do was to go into Settings > Connect to PC > "Ask me about USB connection type whenever I connect my phone to a PC" then click on the "Disk drive" option when asked (I could also select "Charge only," "HTC Sync Manager," "Internet Connection Mode," "media sync," or "Internet pass-through"). When I did this, a drive called "HTC Storage" appeared on my Mac's desktop that allowed me to see all the files on the phone and manipulate them as I would on any mounted drive.

I find HTC manager very unwieldy and would like more control over what I do with the files than it allows. Can anyone please, please tell me if there is some way to mount the new HTC One on my MacBook as a disk??? Right now the only option it is giving me is to use HTC Manager, and I can't for the life of me figure out where the Disk Drive setting is hiding out. Thanks in advance!

Hi
I got the same problem. My HTC Sync Manager said that 'No phone connected', even though it opens itself automatically when I connect the USB between my HTC to Macbook.
Did you figure out how to fix this issue?
Thank you in advance.
