Moto G vs Galaxy s3

Hello,
i broke the screen on my 2 year old Samsung Galaxy S3.

It will take 125$ to fix the screen ; i am contemplating getting a Moto G instead for about 100$ more.

i keep hearing its a great phone, is it worth swiching from a Galaxy S3?

Owners of the Moto G speak highly of it, so if, having considered the specs, it seems good for you, go for it.
But why don't you keep the S3 as well and fix the screen yourself?
