username and password

[AC Question]

my little niece accidentally tried to unlock my phone by trying more than three patterns now my phone is asking for my password and username. When I enter it it says either of them is wrong> How do I recover this?

Forgive me if I seem to doubt you, but are you certain that you are entering them correctly, with due regard to upper and lower case and so on. I know from personal experience how easy it is to get one small detail wrong.

It should be the Google account that you used to log into your phone, and the associated password. Is that what you're entering? Could it be some secondary Gmail account that you used, not wanting to use your primary one?

You may want to bring the phone in to your wireless store and ask them for assistance.
