AC Question

I have a ZTE Majesty and I'm starting to hate it! I keep getting the message that I am out of memory, even though my memory card is near empty. (and the phone won't let me move certain apps onto my memory card or delete them.)
The apps that the manufacturer put on at production takes up so much memory (ie....Google Books, Google Newstand etc.,...any way of deleting them?
Thanks!

The SD card is really just for pictures and videos, as only certain parts of apps can be stored on the SD card, which usually isn't much
And no, you can turn them off and uninstall updates, but the only way to fully uninstall them is to root

Welcome to Android Central! According to its specs, your phone only has about 2 GB of usable internal storage, which is where all apps are primarily installed. If your phone allows moving an app to SD card, it still only moves a portion of the app, not the whole thing. In addition, other data is stored in internal storage, like text messages and attached photos, which can take up a lot of space.
