Droid MAXX back button or numbers vibrate when pressed but doesnt press activate

I have a Droid MAXX and I just got it maybe a month ago. I have recently started having problems with the touch screen where when I press the back button it doesnt work but vibrates as if im touching it. Same goes for the numbers when im sending a text or trying to press numbers into an appp.

What could be the problem with this? I have no idea where to start.

Welcome to Android Central! Does the problem clear up after a simple reboot? If not, try booting into Recovery Mode and wipe the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: Wipe Cache Partition - DROID Mini / DROID Ultra / DROID Maxx by Motorola
