Bright-Tab Android Tablet - Email Connection problem

I have a email connection problem, Bright-Tab Android Tablet. When attempting to add the regular email
feature, I receive the error message "Couldn't finish" Couldn't open connection to server"
I would appreciate any assistance with this problem.
 
Welcome to Android Central! First, can you tell us the exact model name/number of the tablet, or is it just Bright Tab?

Second, you're certain you're connected to the web via wi-fi, right? Can you access other things over the web, like use the browser?

Third, how are you trying to access the email feature? Are you talking about the Email app that came with the device? Have you added your existing email account to it? Or are you using Gmail?
 
i need help to sign in to my tablet it wont sign on to my google play account
