update problem

[AC Question]

I was prompted to make an update last night on my Samsung galaxy tab 3 7.0 and all seemed well until this morning. When i went to turn it on it is now asking for a password. I never used a password so i am at a loss of what it could be. Being that this is new, is there a default password or a way around it?

Are you able to boot into Recovery, so that you can wipe the Cache Partition? That is a good idea after an update, and may fix the problem.
