Why isn' my phone turning on?

A

AC Question

My phone won't turn on.

So basically, I've had my phone for about 3 or 4 years, and It's always been great. It's a Pantech Apache phone. Everyday, the screen stops working, and turns a deep red. It's been happening to me alot lately, and I can't really afford a whole new phone. But this time, It's not turning back on. Someone help...please. It was also my fathers, and he passed away, so it's very dear to me. :/

It sounds like screen failure or the failure of some internal component. It may be possible to have it repaired but I don't suppose it would be cheap. Four years is a respectable age for a phone. Forgive me if I suggest, as gently and sympathetically as I can, that it's your father who is important to you, not the phone. Although you may be able to go on having it repaired, there will come a time when that's no longer worthwhile. Of course that time may not be yet....a repairer ought to be able to give you a diagnosis of what the trouble is, without obligation.
