droid Maxx Camera does not work since 4.4.4 update
How can I get a resolution to the camera on my Droid Max. I have been a Motorola user for over 15 years.
Shortly after I purchased my new Droid Maxx there was a software update. My phone worked fine before the update and after the update the camera only works about 2-4% of the time. When I click the Camera, the screen goes black and then an error message to restart the camera. Verizon has been amazing trying everything from a factory restart, replacing the phone, another factory restart, removing programs from my phone including Google voice, etc, Starting the phone in safe mode and nothing has worked.
I have tried to deal with the Motorola Team who have been rude and unhelpful Stating everything has been done. They want me to send them my phone... or pay $99 and they will send me a phone to use, however they cannot guarantee the next phone will not have the same camera problem. I do not think another phone will resolve the issue as this seems to be a software problem.
So what is the answer... I have purchased a phone, that worked perfectly, and this is my 3rd Droid. Then the update came and now my camera does not work. I have missed out on Wedding Pictures, Accreditation Pics, Work related Pics, Grand Children's birthday parties etc.
is there a resolution, as getting a 2nd replacement phone did not resolve the problem and the camera will not work on this one too...
