My Samsung Galaxy S4 (verizon) died after going for a run. Apparently these things don't take sweat too kindly. After drying it out in a bag of rice for several days, the screen would power up and fully boot, but the screen is unresponsive. I've taken the phone apart and have cleaned the board as thoroughly as I could. When I reassembled it, it is "sort of" responsive.
On the top half of the screen, I can swipe from left to right, or right to left, and get it to respond with a little difficulty. On the bottom half of the screen, it won't respond to touch at all when trying to swipe my pattern. Both function buttons at the bottom left and right are fully responsive. So my question is, do I need a replacement logic board or digitizer?
