Why won't my music transfer via Mac to my sd card on my Galaxy S5?

Music wont transfer via mac to sd card Galaxy s5

So, i am new to Galaxy and i was trying to download my music to my Galaxy's 64GB external SD card via Mac. I have plenty room on my card. For some reason, when i try to copy my music to the Music folder in the root of the SD card, it will only copy the same 2 albums/artists containing songs and never any other songs. I don't want to download all the songs to my device storage, and i don't want to download all my 1000 songs just the mp3's and then go through all of them and put them into albums and artists again. That would take hours. Please can someone help!?

Welcome to the forums. What program are you trying to use to transfer the music?

The easiest way to get around any problems is to just drag the files you want to the phone's SD card manually, the same way you'd drag a file from one drive to another on the Mac. The program that's doing that is so simplistic it usually doesn't get in the way.
