How do i see the time when i have the galaxy s5 handset on charge

I HAVE UPDATEDED FROM A SAMSUNG NOTE ii TO A GALAXY 5. HOW DO I SEE THE TIME ON THE SCREEN WHEN I HAVE THE PHONE DOCKED OR ON CHARGE.

Welcome to the forums. I normally tap the power button on my M8. That will tell me the time.
