Verizon Edge or 2 year contract?

Which plan is the better deal? If my calculations are correct, edge is looking quite a bit cheaper, but I thought edge was going to cost more. We will be staying on the same phone for 2 years regardless of the plan.

Edge over contract. I think customer service is better for me with out a contract.
