YouTube needs a Google+ even on Android

I really don't want to make a Google+ account. But YouTube wants me to make one to have a channel! This is annoying since even in Android it needs me to make a Google+! I tried making a Google+, commenting/liking, and deleting my Google+ but after that all my likes and comments disappear! Could you please assist me in this?
