Recover data black screen LG G2?

Hello,

My LG G2's screen has completely stopped working and is all black for some unknown reason. The phone works and will charge because I am getting the typical notification LED light that I am used to. I am attempting to access the internal storage so I can take off my photos, contacts, and any other data in case the phone is factory reset in my attempts to fix the screen. But since the G2 has the charge only option when I plug in my phone to my computer it only charges and does not show up as a drive on my computer. Can someone please help me figure out how to override this charge only mode so I can access the data on my phone? I'm completely unable to use the screen to change the mode from charge only to USB mode so I can access the data. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain the phone is otherwise working normally despite the blank screen? Does it make any notification tones, or vibrate? The LED notification light can turn on for various reasons, including when there's a significant system problem.

I had a black screen. I went to the AT&T store. They reset it by holding both the power button in the back at the same time as one of the volume buttons (not sure which). It worked and now I'm back in business.
