unknown caller ID for outgoing calls

Recently when I call friends and family the receivers phone says "unknown caller ID"
Any way to have my name and number show up again?

It may be different for carriers, but on my Note 3 it's:
Device - Call - Additional Settings - Caller ID - Show or Carrier/Network Default.
You could also check: General - About Device - Status.
Or take the sim out for 15-20 minutes.

None of this may apply to your phone though.

If it persists ask for another sim card. My 1st sim with my new carrier would not show my own number after I ported it over.
