I, too, noticed the discrepancy between what I paid for the F6 and what I'm paying for this phone. What sealed my decision to upgrade is the (perceived at least) thought that this is a decent upgrade from the F6.

The only upgrade is it's slim probably slimmest on the market and the 400.00 extra I don't think justify it but I like tech and it's the only thing going for it otherwise it's same specs without my beloved spen which I have in the s25u

And here is the thing: Those who just bought a Fold device are paying twice as much with so little trade-in for exchange. It's still a deal for early adopters. Either way you look at it, the company is in for the profits.

Agreed, the "upgrades" probably don't justify the net price hike. But those of us on these sites like the new tech! Personally, I'm in because of the bigger outer screen.

I'm in for the bigger screens. I think the front screen will be perfect size. The no UDC is my issue. I really think the front camera was good for the important selfies, the inside camera don't need to be top notch. Apparently I'm on the low demand side and now we will have 2 of the same cameras for the same job, I think a full screen on the inside was great. If I can't get used to the hole punch the 7 will go back instead of the 6.

This time around you guys can race to send the trade in to Samsung, I will hold off for a bit.

They can't cancel my fold 7as it's in the shipping mode. They sent me a email to reply to when I get the fold 7 and they will give me a $100 promo code, not perfect but it's something.
