I am running mac os x 10.5.8 and have downloaded android file transfer for mac. Firstly the message "The item Android File Transfer" could not be moved because "Applications"cannot be modified. comes up when i try to move the A F T icon into the Applications folder. If I choose Authenticate, and enter my password it allows the operation to go through. However when I try to open A F T from the Applications menu a menu with 17 options including video and music folders is offered to me but i cannot open any of the folders or put anything in them. The message i receive instead is "Can't access device storage. If your device's screen is locked, disconnect it's USB cable, unlock your screen, and then reconnect the USB cable." When I do this ensuring to keep the screen on my phone unlocked the problem persists with the same message. Please help. Thank you. Ps I have read that uninstalling Kies will solve this problem but I never installed it in the first place. Thanks again
