Why is my s5 barely picking up my home wifi?

[AC Question]

I use to have an s4 and I never had a problem picking up my home wifi. Now I have the s5 and it connects to my home wifi and says strong signal but is extremly slow. Any input here? My phone has no problems connecting to most wifi signals.
