Does anyone else have a problem with the charge cable?

I've had my Note 10.1 for two years now, and I'm on my second charging/USB cable. I'm not rough on it, I don't yank it out, I don't bend it. Is this common?

A cable a year sounds more than reasonable, things wear out over time.
I go through them monthly with all the charging.
