Why does my cellphone shut down at 30 without any warning?

My Cellphone Shuts down in 30% without any warning

I have my Cherry mobile Amber Mt6572 device..
With new battery, it completely shuts down at 30% and the worst is if I connect it to the charger, the reading is 0%.. I've tried to change my battery but the problem still occur .. Is this a hardware problem or program problem? How can I fix this? My device was already rooted

Welcome to Android Central! Are you running the original stock ROM? My guess is that it's a hardware issue. Are you able to contact the manufacturer, or bring it to the store where you bought it?
