The Oppo R15 had been one of the best devices in my collection since I got it in 2022. It worked swiftly, delivering a smooth experience until the unexpected happened. One evening, while streaming a video online, the screen suddenly went off. Oddly enough, the sound kept running for about two minutes before everything went silent, and the device shut down completely.
The next day, I noticed something strange—signs of what seemed like a software glitch. When I pressed the power button, the screen would turn on for 30 seconds before going dark again. This cycle repeated itself—after several hours, the screen would briefly come to life for another 30 seconds, only to go black again. That's when I figured it was likely a software issue.
I used those brief moments of clarity to factory reset the phone through a hard reset. It worked. The device got back to normal, working smoothly without any issues until I turned it off on the second day.
Since then, the phone has gone completely blank. It no longer powers on, except for brief vibrations when I plug in the charger or press the power button. At this point, I believe the phone is bricked. I’m ready to flash the firmware, but I can't seem to get the device into Meta Mode—none of the usual button combinations for MediaTek chipsets are working.
I’ve got the firmware and tools on standby. Can anyone guide me through how to enter Meta Mode on the Oppo R15 Pacmoo or suggest an alternative method to unbrick it? Any help would be appreciated.
