is there a way to unlink S-planner ffrom google calendar?

Hi, thanks for your help.
I would like to keep all my daily reminders on one calendar and use the other for birthdays, meetings and events.
The trouble is, every time i make an entry in wither S-Planner or Google calendar it appears in the other. If i deselect "My Calendar" in one, it deselects in the other.
Also, is there a way to use S-voice and say "remind me every day at 8:30 to take a vitamin tablet", i can't seem to find that functionality.
Can anyone help me? thanks
Iain

Hello. Do you mean you want one app to display one calendar and one the other. My Calendar only syncs with Kies on pc, Samsung calendar syncs with your Samsung account so should appear on both if refreshed.

Samsung entries should not appear on Google, and vice versa. Are you sure you are displaying 'Event' on Google Calendar, which is the Google Calendar. Google Calendar has more settings options on the website view.
You can of course display the calendars in Schedule / List view. You may know all this, but double check your entries. I found new Google Calendar very confusing as Google Calendar and Samsung calendar were listed under my Gmail address which I use for my Samsung account.

S-Voice reminders I can't advise on.

Hi. Sorry, I was just randomly showing how to 'not' display a calendar in google calendar the check box should be hollow.

Yes, you can display only one calendar in S-Planner, eg My Calendar, and one in Google. I know you have an S5 with newer Touchwiz but the updated apps should be similar.
I am still not clear on the exact issue but I hope this helps somewhat.

If you think your Samsung Calendar is taking your Google Calendar entries, it shouldn't, and vice versa - try unchecking Samsung Calendar Sync in Accounts - Samsung with Master Sync on.
I don't know also if you rely on Google's full Calendar display on a pc, or rely on the phone calendars entirely.
On Edit : I don't think you can remove Google from S-Planner, just not display it.
My S-Planner version :

My Google Calendar is not syncing to S-Planner afaik, but may do if I choose to display it. (last edit )

Bump.

Just stumbled upon this. Having exactly the same issue. Did you work out a way to keep S Planner and the Google Calendar App independent of one another? If it matters, I'm using an S5 running 5.0. Cheers!

Did anyone find a soulition to this yet? I have the same issue where I change the settings in one and then open the other one only to find it mirrors the settings of the other calendar.

Re: is there a way to unlink S-planner ffrom google calendar?

I'm a bit confused. You want to have two apps showing a different calendar, or do you have several calendars set up on each app?

Thanks chanchan. I have multiple calenders on my S5 phone. A google one, a samsung one, an exchange one. When I open up google calendar I only want to see my family's calendar so I turn off my work exchange one from there. I'd like to then just have work stuff on another calender but I open up my other calendar app and it always mirrors the same settings. I change the settings in the s planner or another third party app and they then appear the same in my google calendar. So the way I'm working it now is to manually turn calendars on and off each time as each app won't hold onto it's individual settings - they are shared somehow. Thanks for your help.

For those interested, I worked a way around this that worked well for me. I downloaded the Outlook App and this kept my exchange calendar and mail separate from the others and did not have the same issues of sharing settings when one calendar was changed. Outlook is much better than I expected!
