Software problems

If you mean some failing apps, you can download apps that show you the system logs (like play(dot)google(dot)com/store/apps/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat)
And check the logs if they help

My phone has glitches and lags a bit. I have another post explaining my issue more. I did a factory reset three times in different ways and have not reinstalled apps except this one. I think there is a pre installed app causing the problem but I can't root to freeze it. I hate not having root capabilities. I have a Samsung Galaxy Alpha from AT&T (sm-g850a).

I just read your other thread. If you have done several factory resets and didn't work you should take your phone to ATT or Samsung and ask for a replacement. From your post I assume that it's still under warranty.

It seems as a hardware problem or something wrong with the preinstalled bloatware.

And remember, if you root you'll void your warranty.

Every phone I have had I rooted it. I like to use Xposed and I freeze apps but no one has discovered a root method for this model yet. I'll just replace the phone before I dedicate anything to it. I wonder if I should get the Note 4 like I originally planned or get another one of these, It really is a nice phone. Not having root isn't the end of the world but sometimes it feels like it. Thanks for your help.
