AC Question

I use a generic android 4.0.4 . Few months ago, i had rooted my phone. As because my phone has only 512mb ram and to keep room for my useful apps, i had uninstalled a lot of apps along with Google Play Services & Google Play Store. Everything was going okay but when I've installed some new apps(manually by apk) , they wouldn't run saying "get Google Play Services" or "this app won't run without Google Play Services". I've tried a lot of ways to reinstall Google Play Services, but i failed. Now i thought reinstalling the whole os could solve this. Is that right or there is some other way fix it without reinstalling os? Could you guys help please.

Reinstalling the stock ROM should work. However, with generic devices, finding the files might prove to be very difficult, if you can find them at all.

If you do find it, you should be able to flash the ROM through ADB.

Thank you, Golfdriver97.

Fortunately ,i have found the files. Now I'm stuck with flashing the rom. Could you please tell me how?

I googled how to flash rom by adb. I didn't find. However i tried two different ways.
one with the sp flash tool and the other with clockworkmod rom manager. Failed in both ways.

In sp flash tool it needs to connect to the computer, but my computer doesn't recognize my phone due to absence of device driver in computer. I searched and failed to find appropriate driver.

And with Clockwork mod, i think it doesn't work for my phone. When i boot to the installation mode there is "Android System Recovery <3e>", "XX Android System Recovery utility" in the second line. However, it has almost same features like Clockworkmod & i did followed the steps (backup, wiping data, wiping cache partition, apply update from sdcard) but it ends in failure saying "signature verification failed, Installation aborted"

Could you pls help me with any other ways with procedures?
