Welcome to Android Central! Was this an official system update received over-the-air? If so, contact your carrier and let them know the update is causing many problems. Since it's their update, they need to work the problem out with you. If they can't, ask them for a replacement phone.

If you manually installed it, then are you rooted? To downgrade the system, you'd have to root the phone and install the correct factory ROM for 4.3. Not sure if there are any reliable procedures out there--you can do a Google search for "Alcatel One Touch Idol root ROM."

Hello there, I hope you solved your problems. Now I wish you can help me, how did you update to android 4.3 and 4.4.2??? My Idol alpha is stacked in 4.2.2 :(
