Why is my phone updating every time i startup

Every time I startup my S5 on 5.0 it upgrade 1 app, WHY?

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

It's just the bits of housekeeping or check lists your Google account goes through when the device is available again.

You don't have to allow it.
Play Store - Settings - Auto Update Apps off, and Notifications (when updates are available) on/off.
