Toshiba Smartbook AC100

What a pile of utter crap. Can us mugs who bought this lump of plastic sue the crap out of Google and Toshiba for selling something not fit for purpose? They scrapped it as soon as it hit the market. WTF happened there?

It is not allowed to sync with Google Play, so cannot download any improvements or decent Apps. Yet it comes with Android. I managed to get one update to Froyo and that's it! Bastards!
There is no support at all for this "device".
There was some argument with Tosh and Boogle, but they arrogantly avoid dumbass Schmuchs like me who purchase this ****.

This Techo stuff might put the smile on those smug dudes who work in these Corporations, but all I personally want to do is smash this piece of **** over their smug big heads.

Sorry for the rant gang, I feel a load better now, thanks for the opportunity.

Re: Toshiba Smartbook AC100

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, this 5 year old device got poor reviews when it was brand new: Toshiba AC100 review - CNET. The review mentions that it doesn't come with Android Market (the old name for Google Play Store), and that means the device wasn't certified by Google to be compatible with the Play Store. You're stuck with the lousy app store that the device came with, although you could also try Amazon Appstore, GetJar or SlideMe.

There are lots and lots of great Android devices out there, but there are also lots of really terrible ones. Make sure you read up on any device you consider buying before you actually commit!
