How do I open a file with an alternate application

Have a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4

So say I have a html file I want to open.
I'm offered Firefox or an html viewer.
But I have two other browsers installed that I should be able to use.
And what if I want to use a browser to view a jpg or mp4.
Easy to do on my computer but can't see how to do it here.

Thanks.

For Firefox, go into system settings - applications - Firefox. From there, select the clear defaults button to use an alternate browser when prompted. Regarded the jpg or mp4, you'll need to use a file manager to browse the SD card. If you don't have one download a free application from the Play Store. ES File Manager is a good option if you don't know what to try.

Let us know how it goes.
