My Samsung Galaxy Core is going directly to voice mail at times, how do I stop this?

My samsung galaxy core is going directly to voice mail at times

I am not sure why this is happening. It is like I have shut the phone off. I only find out it is happening when someone tells me after I have made an outgoing call. Then by shutting the phone off and turning it back on it seems to work okay. Unfortunately, this does not stop it from re-occurring.

Bring the phone to the carrier. It could be a problem with the phone, the SIM card, the way your account is set up, the tower ... They have the tools to determine where the problem is, we don't.
