Why do I need to keep restarting my Note 4 to get my alpha keyboard back?

Need to keep restarting my note 4 to get my alpah keyboard back

For a few days now when I text I am no longer able to use the letter keyboard. It only has that big square box to use my pen. When I click on the T it only brings up the number keyboard. I dont want to have to restart my device each tine...any help?

Go into system settings > applications > sort by all > keyboard. Clear the cache and see if that helps. Let us know if you have any other questions.
