Hello Everyone:
I recently bought a Galaxy S4 online and I want to update the firmware to KitKat 4.4.4 (or Lollipop 5.0 if possible). The phone model is at&t SGH-i337. I tried updating via Samsung Kies 3 but it does not work. I tried Initialization and it says SGH-i337 does not support initialization.
I used Root Checker to see if my phone was previously rooted but it has not been.
Please note that I am NOT subscribed to at&t and I do not plan to be. I simply want to know if there is a way I can update the firmware to 4.4.4 without having an at&t SIM card or service activated.
