Galaxy Tab S 10.5 NOT charging? (I'm overseas?)

AC Question

Hi.

I recently purchased a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 for my wife.

In Australia where I purchased it, it works fine and charges perfectly.

I travelled to France recently and here still worked fine and charged

Now I am in Morocco I plug it into the same plugs I was using in France (with my EU/AU plug converter, same one I was using in France (Morocco have same as France plugs)), I will turn the tab off at night and leave it on charge all night, I wake up in the morning and it's 0%.

Sometimes it doe's work on some days charing fine though most of the time it doesn't.

I've tried an normal Moroccan plug to charge also here (not original) and it doe's charge but then sometimes same problem doe's no charge at all or is very, very slow.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? or what is wrong? :(

Welcome to Android Central! Any idea how much current is coming through those outlets? Maybe there isn't enough current to charge. Or maybe the current is erratic.

Another possibility is that the outlet is connected to some kind of motion sensor, such that it only provides current when there's some activity in the room.
